1C  Shadow Play:

TASK: Design a shadow theatre scene around the theme of Robert Plutchik’s theory of basic human emotions. Choose one of the eight emotions framed in this theory and produce a short video whereby the use of shadows is the primary means of storytelling (Use a soundscape of your choice). Document the making of your video through photographs.

1D  Optical Illusions

TASK: Research types and techniques of optical illusions and produce a cognitive optical illusion being either an ambiguity illusion, distortion illusion, paradoxical illusion or fictional illusion. Design a speculative interior application whereby your optical illusion can be overlayed in an interior space for visual enhancement.

Deliverables: Pin up a printed version of your work and deliver short presentation to the class of, lessons learned and discoveries made.
